My name is Trista and I am a 23 year old sophomore at the University of Akron. I chose the Freedom House Organization because I believe that women need places to go and get help when they are willing to help themselves. Freedom House helps women to clean up and to try to fix the situation that they are in.
My parents are police officers for the city of Akron and they encounter so many women and children that could be so much better off if given the chance. Places like Freedom House For Women gives that chance.
